Helping Women Thrive

CounselingI am so glad you are here, and interested in counseling. Trying to find the right counselor to help you on your journey is most often very overwhelming! There are a lot of counselors in our area, and from reading bios, it may be hard to determine the best fit. I hope what you are reading here will resonate with you, and I invite you to contact me to determine if we are good fit together.

My counseling practice is devoted to helping women overcome the overwhelming challenges they face,  find satisfaction in their relationships and heal from previous traumas. Ultimately, I am dedicated to helping women thrive and live their lives with authenticity and confidence.

I provide counseling to help women with a wide variety of life challenges and mental health concerns including:

• Stress
• Anxiety and Mood Issues
• Life Transitions
• Trauma and Loss
• Relationship and Parenting Struggles
and More…

I approach counseling from a psychodynamic, attachment based lens while providing a warm and accepting environment so that you can find the deepest parts of you that need healing. I am a trauma informed professional, and utilize therapies that are evidence based and sensitive to the mind-body connection.

I have been providing counseling for the last 12 years, and have worked alongside children and families for over 30 years. I’ve also been features in the local media as a parent expert, and many professionals all over the country look to me to provide guidance and consultation in their professional development. I love what I do and I feel so fortunate to be able to provide counseling to support women, children and families on their healing journey. I’m inspired by each one of my clients, their stories and their commitment to finding their healing and living their best lives.

I provide in-person counseling, as well as telehealth counseling. I do work with a therapy dog, Rafaella Rose (F1b Chocolate Goldendoodle), although having her in your session is not required!
